The restaurant is located at 'Rua da Alfândega' in Funchal, Madeira Island, in a 200 year old building that once served as a salt warehouse.
Two centuries later, in June 2007, the old building was repurposed as a restaurant, presenting itself as a new gastronomic option to the local population and to all those coming to our beautiful island, from all over the world.
At the table, Restaurant Armazém do Sal surprises its guests with contemporary cuisine inspired in the traditional Portuguese gastronomy, where the regional influence is naturally present. Our dishes are seasoned with emotion and cooked with the best ingredients, can be accompanied with the best wines available in the market, reflecting our supplier's curated selection.
